REFEREE Craig Thomson has admitted he should have awarded Celtic a second penalty at Ibrox on Sunday.

Thomson ignored appeals for a spot-kick in the 12th minute when Shaun Maloney was brought down by David Weir. The referee later booked both Maloney and Mark Wilson for "diving", although the Celtic full-back last night insisted he was innocent.
