MATCH officials would welcome the introduction of goalline technology according to Donald McVicar, the SFA's head of referee development.

The SFA, along with FIFA and the authorities in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, will discuss the possibility of using technology at the meeting of the International Football Associations Board (IFAB) in Cardiff on February 26 when adidas will showcase a new ball they believe can benefit the game.
