ANDY MURRAY hopes to have a 21st to celebrate tomorrow. The Scot has won each of his last 20 matches against Frenchmen and now finds himself up against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, who overcame his countryman Julien Benneteau by a score of 6-1, 6-4, 3-6, 6-1 in the last 16 yesterday.

It is doubtful whether the world No.10 would have been the opponent Murray would have selected given the choice, however. The 25-year-old - who was born in Le Mans and is now resident in Switzerland - was, after all, the last Frenchman to beat him.
