A NEW research body that aims to support life sciences in Scotland is to create about 250 jobs .
The Scottish Academic Health Sciences Collaboration, backed by GBP15m from the Scottish Government, will bring together Scottish NHS boards and medical schools Health Secretary Nicola Sturgeon said: "This opens up further opportunities for our researchers to work with industry to turn cutting-edge research into real health benefits giving Scotland a competitive advantage in the global marketplace."
