IF a manager and players need rest, relaxation and stability to be ready for the Champions League, Celtic are under-equipped. Before they know it - next midweek, in fact - they're going to be lining up on a pitch in Portugal for a first leg against Sporting Braga. Don't blame them if they look disorientated and even a little knackered.

On Thursday they played in Philadelphia, on Saturday it was Canada, last night it was Seattle and on Thursday they'll be in action in Boston. Phew!
