A SENIOR bank executive has been formally accused of embezzling (pounds) 300,000 from his employers.

Donald Mackenzie, a 43-year-old business banking manager with the Royal Bank of Scotland at its west end branch in Edinburgh, and a well-known figure in the city's business community, was arrested at his home in the Corstorphine area of the city late last week.
