McDIARMID Park in Perth could host the first rugby Test match to be played north of the Forth.

The Scottish Rugby Union is considering the introduction of a two- match home series with Australia, which would be a massive break with tradition in itself, and the home of St Johnstone is believed to be the favoured venue. Pittodrie in Aberdeen and Dens Park in Dundee are also being considered.
