BBC4, 9.00pm They say that this year's ceremonies to mark the 60th anniversary of D-Day will be the last big parade for the old men who were once boys on the beaches. As witnesses pass away, the great invasion itself slips into history. I'm not sure, though, that television will ever lose its fascination with the greatest of military gambles.
