THE loss of Greg Owen and possibly Freddie Jacobson to the European Tour might seem less than a watershed, but the threat is sufficient for Europe's powerful tournament players' committee to have suggestions for change on the agenda when they meet this week at the German Masters in Cologne.
Nothing will change the qualification system for next year's Ryder Cup matches in Ireland because that process began last week, but there are what George O'Grady, the Tour's executive director, described last week in Switzerland as "different permutations" up for discussion.See the full content of this document
