SCOTLAND'S wild salmon are at greater risk from disease as a result of a rise in numbers of farmed salmon escaping into Norway's open waters, wildlife campaigners warned today.

A report from WWF said the problem was due to a higher risk of disease, breeding difficulties and genetic contamination because of the farmed salmon.
