LORD Scarman, the eminent lawyer and leading protagonist of human rights, has died at the age of 93.
The peer died peacefully on Wednesday evening in a Kent nursing home, said George Ritchie, his nephew. He did not specify the cause of death, but said: "He died very peacefully surrounded by friends and family. Those who loved him will miss him greatly."See the full content of this document
