A CLIMBER who survived a 1000ft fall yesterday told how the death- defying drop haunted him on the face of Mount Everest.

Adam Potter plunged from the peak of Sgurr Choinnich Mor, near Ben Nevis in January but amazed rescuers when they found him standing reading a map. He vowed not to give up climbing and kept his sights set on topping the world's highest mountain.
