SCOTS with learning difficulties have been told they would have to travel hundreds of miles to London if they wanted help to understand controversial benefit changes.

Quarriers, which helps thousands of people, last night claimed that many vulnerable people felt left out after the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) warned that its own "easy read" version of the plans could be misleading and recommended a face-to-face meeting.
