LEISURE group Hilton yesterday announced the sale of 15 UK hotels in a Royal Bank of Scotland-backed deal, as the company continues to explore a GBP3.6bn reunion of its hotels arm with US-based partner and namesake, Hilton Hotels.

The GBP382.4m deal with Managed Hotels Unit Trust, backed by RBS funding, includes the Aberdeen Treetops, Dunkeld House and Strathclyde hotels.
