Ristic, or 'Ricki' as he was known to his friends, arrived in Scottish football at a time when supporters thought 'continental flair' was something their wives had convinced them to wear two decades earlier. 'Ricki', or Ristic as he was known to fans, was just another of those players who managed to blag his way into the SPL by virtue of "having played in Europe".
