WALTER SMITH, the Rangers manager, last night warned his players and the club's supporters that they could end up with nothing after he detected the first signs of complacency creeping into their season.

Smith has been anxious recently about growing talk of a potential treble and he suspected the speculation had affected his players against Dundee United at Ibrox yesterday. Rangers were 3-1 up after an hour but were pegged back to 3-3 and now face an Active Nation Scottish Cup quarter-final replay at Tannadice a week on Wednesday.
