SPARKS continued to fly in the SNP leadership fight yesterday, as Nicola Sturgeon hit back at a claim she had plotted behind the back of John Swinney before he quit.

Ms Sturgeon rejected the accusation, made by Roseanna Cunningham, the SNP deputy leader and her main rival, and said she had no idea why Ms Cunningham made the jibe.
