Plans are under way to move major rugby internationals around Scotland to help broaden the sport's appeal on the back of Saturday's hugely successful meeting with Japan at Perth's McDiarmid Park.

With local authority support helping to ensure that it was a worthwhile venture, Phil Anderton, the SRU's chief executive, believes the climate is right to offer every district in Scotland the chance to host international matches.
