GLASGOW faces a "logistical nightmare" recruiting and training staff for the Commonwealth Games, organisers have admitted, as the spotlight shifts from the debacle in Delhi to plans for 2014.

Ian Reid, finance director of Glasgow's organising committee, told an audience in the city last night that problems were already anticipated in finding and retaining enough temporary workers to service the 6500 athletes and officials expected for the 2014 event.
