A FUND management boutique in Edinburgh's Charlotte Square claims to have moved into profit three years after its establishment.
Charlotte Square Managers, led by William Forsyth and Edmund Clarke, formerly of venerable wealth management house Rathbones, has expanded funds under management from GBP10m to nearly GBP50m in the last two years and is plotting further expansion. Charlotte Square Managers is a pure investment management company. Everything else - compliance, regulatory cover and back office administration - is outsourced to the London office of US-based prime brokerage Raymond James Financial.
