Summary
AT A time when our NHS hospitals seem to be the subject of much criticism, perhaps I could point to a story and standard of quality at which I have been on the receiving end. I very recently underwent major surgery at Gartnavel General in Glasgow and as someone who is conceited enough to think he can spot a professional at work I would like to draw attention to the superb standards of technical skill, personal care and morale-boosting attention received by me in the high-dependence unit and ward 5C which have carried me through a quite taxing period of my life.
Given that the hospital is around 30 years old, the staff manage to overcome inherent property and fitment difficulties and yet admirably maintain their own and patient morale.See the full content of this document
