YOUR editorial (August 19) attempts to find cause and solution to the financial crisis facing Scotland's family dairy farms. Your support for a sustainable dairy industry echoes the views of the wider public reacting to this week's blockades of milk depots. But, by laying partial blame at the door of farmers for a supposed glut of milk, you repeat a convenient excuse trotted out by the supermarkets, which ignores the facts.
