THE row over the cancelled Glasgow Airport Rail Link (Garl) has escalated with Finance Secretary John Swinney, who scrapped the project, labelled "judge, jury and executioner".
Labour's transport spokesman Charlie Gordon made the accusation during heated exchanges in the Scottish Parliament as Mr Swinney defended his decision to Holyrood's Transport Committee and challenged Mr Gordon to come up with an alternative He said: "What project would you have sacrificed?
