TENSIONS were mounting at TransBus International's plant in Falkirk yesterday as workers awaited news of whether they would still have jobs next week.

Union leaders said they had been warned on Friday by the administrator, John Reid of Deloitte & Touche, that more than 100 jobs would go at the plant, which has been in jeopardy since the collapse of Mayflower Corporation, its parent company.
