NEW scientific evidence presented by a French toxicologist supports the theory that Napoleon Bonaparte was poisoned with arsenic.

Pascal Kintz, who was commissioned to carry out tests by the International Napoleonic Society, said he had found traces of the poison in two strands of the French emperor's hair.
