PLANS to reunite Radio Clyde veterans for a belated thirtieth birthday party has had the old troopers reminiscing. Mel Purcell recalls engineering the outside broadcast end of the radio's New Year show with a link to a party at the Holiday Inn hosted by Mr Superbad. To hear the studio in those days the crew merely had a tranny tuned to the station, so that when the studio presenter said "over to Mr Superbad" they knew when to start talking.See the full content of this document
