Horse play

LABOUR'S Elaine Murray was sporting a Gretna FC T-shirt in the Scottish parliament yesterday, and blamed it on a horse. The Dumfries MSP was driving through Broughton when she spotted a riderless nag, so she tempted the animal to safety with a pear she had with her. By then, the steed, pushing against her with its sweaty head, had turned her light-coloured top into a filthy mess, and the Gretna T-shirt was all she had to change into.
