IT should have been as easy as one, two, three . . . but staff at St Joseph's College in Dumfries almost got an F for fail when it came to arranging for the Intermediate 2 maths exam yesterday.

Last night, a spokeswoman for Dumfries and Galloway Council confirmed that the school issued 15 pupils with the wrong set of papers for the examination.
