Excise duty
Duty on alcohol raises pound(s)784 million in Scotland each year. When minimum pricing for alcohol is introduced, as is now certain, additional revenue will be raised. Although the UK Government would retain the pound(s)784m, Mr Salmond wants the additional money kept in Scotland.
