Summary

4/5 School outings can be traumatic affairs. Away from the cosy sanctity of the classroom, it's easy to get lost, go missing or worse. For Theodore, an all grown-up eccentric who writes wild fiction in his fridge, a simple ski-ing trip has stayed with him forever. A some-time loner in a progressive school of extrovert grotesques, he remains an outsider in a prison of free expression. Think Rudolf Steiner as headmaster to The X-Men, and you'll see why he wanted to get his own back. But Theo is the real little boy lost here, the quiet one you should have watched, but never noticed until he shot up the entire playground.

Now, his victims - Billie, Lillie and Millie - want back what he took from them. There are creatures bursting out his stomach, his wife Adele has left him and his dreams aren't his own anymore as all his guilty secrets come home to roost.
