A FEW weeks ago, this fixture was deemed as one for the diehards only. A midweek game between Clyde and East Stirlingshire? The thought was enough to leave both sets of forlorn supporters fumbling through television guides.
Yet a mini-revival at the Cumbernauld club meant fans of either side were suddenly faced with a proposition they had possibly forgotten existed - a match of significance. There is, after all, little more embarrassing than finishing bottom of the third division.
