Until this season when Edinburgh made it their home, and Wales romped to that first win in the Scottish capital for eight years, Gareth Thomas was among only a handful of current Welsh internationalists to have experienced victory at Scotland's national rugby stadium, as a youngster in the side which triumphed in 1997.
