Matt Thornhill, the Hibernian midfielder, says he and his fellow players would prefer to concentrate on their own form rather than worry about the future of Colin Calderwood as manager.

With the Edinburgh club keen not to lose Calderwood so close to the start of the new season, and a compensation agreement also proving a major stumbling block, any prospective move to become assistant manager of either Nottingham Forest or Birmingham City does not appear to be any closer.
