SCOTLAND'S largest local authority is considering reducing its resources for investigating rogue traders, leading to fears that consumers will suffer.

In a report by Robert O'Neill, head of trading standards at Glasgow City Council, councillors were asked yesterday to cut 12 full-time posts, resulting in savings of GBP410,000 for the department.
