SCOTLAND could improve its poor record of business start-ups if more enterprise courses were offered by colleges and universities, a report from Strathclyde University said yesterday.
The latest Global Entrepreneurship Monitor Scotland study found the country's actual business start-up rate was the second lowest in the UK. Only the Yorkshire and Humberside region in northern England performed worse than Scotland with a rate of only 4.2per cent.See the full content of this document
