FOOD safety experts yesterday recommended maximum in-take levels of oily fish for the first time after concerns were raised about toxins.

Following scares about carcinogenic chemicals accumulating in salmon, the Food Standards Agency advised women to limit their intake to one or two pieces of oily varieties - including fresh tuna, trout and sardines.
