GLEN Catrine, the independent bottling plant owned by the Bulloch family, saw profits slide for the second consecutive year in 2004 despite a slight increase in turnover.

In the company's accounts for the 12 months to September 30, 2004, Ayrshire-based Glen Catrine said its sales rose to pounds- 25.4m from pounds-25.1m.
