Two Questions About Muslim Schools

Summary

I HAVE got but two questions for Osama Saeed, aka Osama Bhutta, who seems to be vying with George Galloway in the self-promotion stakes these days. If there is so much demand for Muslim schools in Glasgow as claimed, why is it the only people we ever hear making this demand are his cohorts of the so-called Campaign for Muslim Schools (membership seemingly synonymous with that of the Muslim Association of Britain)? The silence from the rest of Glasgow's Islamic community has been far more noticeable than Saeed's two- year campaign.

Secondly, why does he feel the need to alter his name? Is it according to what cause he's promoting? It appears to be Osama Bhutta when standing for the SNP (as during his disastrous candidature in East Renfrewshire at the recent general election), but Osama Saeed when promoting Muslim schools. Could it be out of a fear of alienating supporters if it were more widely realised that they are one and the same person?
