THERE'S barely been a star pictured without them warming their toes. Sarah Jessica Parker, Kate Moss, Gwyneth Paltrow, Pamela Anderson and, yes, Marlon Brando have been resplendent in the ubiquitous Australian Ugg boot.

Ugg-mania recently reached fever pitch when celebrity fan Oprah Winfrey gave a pair to everyone in her audience. The popularity of the retro-looking, squat, sheepskin footwear is so huge that demand has now eclipsed supply and some outlets will have to wait until next month before furry reinforcements arrive.
