Robbie Neilson will sign for Dundee United today and could make his debut against his former club Hearts this weekend, writes Robert Thomson.

The 31-year-old full-back, who has signed a deal until the end of the season, made 200 appearances for Hearts during the successful Craig Levein era when they finished third in back-to-back seasons. He was lured south by Leicester City in 2009 where he spent two seasons before a recent loan spell at Brentford.
