THE missing link in the motorway network between Glasgow and London is to be upgraded at a cost of GBP30m a mile.
The so-called Cumberland Gap, a six-mile stretch of dual carriageway which links the A74(M) to the M6 on the main route south out of Scotland, will be upgraded to motorway at a cost of GBP174.61m.See the full content of this document
