MORDECHAI Vanunu, who was jailed for 18 years after revealing Israel's secret nuclear programme, has lost an appeal against restrictions on him.

Mr Vanunu was freed last year, but the conditions of his release included a ban on foreign travel and meeting foreign reporters, with Israel concerned he could spill more state secrets.
