DOCTORS across Scotland have signed a letter warning ministers that health care in rural areas outside office hours will become inadequate unless urgent action is taken.

A group of nearly 30 GPs based in remote areas have put their names to the letter, saying they feel aghast at the way emergency GP cover is being cut around the country.
