WE MUST welcome Brian Smith's reassurance (Letters, October 17) that Unison members are trying to reverse their leadership's inexplicable support for council tax. The only rational explanation for the Unison leadership's apparent class treason is that they are worried about the jobs of theirmembers who work in council offices - but any such concerns could be met.
