A TEAM of Scottish academics have overturned the myth that Virginia Woolf was largely uneducated, in a decade-long study that discovered the writer actually studied to degree level.

Professor Susan Sellars, professor of English and Related Literature at the University of St Andrews, has worked with a team of editors for 10 years delving into the life and work of the author, who drowned herself in 1941.
