GUANGDONG: The world's oldest panda has died in China at the age of 34. Ming Ming, who had been living at a reserve, had kidney failure.

The China Panda Protection Centre in Sichuan province said she died on May 7. Wild pandas live to about 15 years on average and captive ones to around 22.
