The jinx which has befallen Celtic strikers continued last night when Chris Sutton limped off against Teplice with an ankle injury. He is now a doubt for Sunday's Scottish Cup tie against Rangers, as is Jackie McNamara, who picked up a shin injury.

Martin O'Neill, the Celtic coach, said he did not know the extent of the Englishman's ankle injury but it was likely he would undergo an X-ray in Glasgow this morning. His injury is a bitter blow to O'Neill, who has lost Shaun Maloney and John Hartson until the end of the season.
